Built by a Marine who's been through the system — and knows how broken it can be.
I served 21 years in the United States Marine Corps. I retired as a Gunnery Sergeant — E-7 — in 2011. I gave those years willingly. I'd do it again.
When I got out, I trusted the VA process. I filed my claim, submitted what I had, and came out with a 30% disability rating. I thought that was fair. I moved on.
A few years later, a fellow Marine told me about a private company that helps veterans navigate the claims system. I was skeptical — I'd already been through it. But I looked into it. They found service-connected conditions I hadn't claimed, helped me document everything properly, and walked me through the process the right way.
I went from 30% to 80%.
That change meant thousands of dollars more per month in benefits — for the rest of my life. Money I had earned. Benefits I was entitled to. I just didn't know how to claim them properly.
The company charged about $7,000 total. It was worth every dollar. But not every veteran has $7,000. Not every veteran knows where to look. And too many veterans get taken advantage of by companies that promise everything and deliver nothing.
There is no trusted, unbiased directory of VA claims assistance companies. Veterans search Google, find a mix of ads and scam sites, and have no way to know who to trust.
I built VA Claims Help Finder to change that. Every company listed here has been personally reviewed. I check accreditation, reviews, complaint history, pricing transparency, and what the veteran community actually says about them.
If a company doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't get listed. If a company gets complaints or acts like a shark, it gets removed.
This directory is free. It will stay free. Because that's what veterans deserve.
